Greetings,
If you have not seen it, the latest CIC article is posted: http://www.cicministry.org/commentary/issue115.htm
I have gotten a lot of feedback about this article, mostly positive. However, it provoked a number of questions about means of grace. Some people were concerned that I have adopted such Lutheran ideas such a infant baptism and con-substantiation. No I have not. Conceptully, means of grace is not tied to a mode of baptism or a certain understanding of the elements at the communion table. At issue is what God has ordained whereby He will graciously work in the lives of believers.
I made a presentation in Sunday School that went a long way to help people understand how God sanctifies us.
It can be found here: http://www.twincityfellowship.com/bss.php
Choose "December 27, Christian Virtues and God's grace"
It should clear up any misunderstanding about means of grace.
Blessings,
Bob DeWaay
